Lightened by 80 kg compared to the F430 Spider, the 16M is an efficient beast with a real track-racing soul. Inheriting the mechanics and aesthetics of the 430 Scuderia, the 16M features the fabulous 4.3L V8 delivering 510 hp at 8,500 rpm, a gain of 20 hp compared to the F430. This block gives it 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and a maximum speed of 199 mph, associated with the formidable robotized F1 gearbox. 80% of the torque is available from 3,000 rpm. The intake is equipped with a carbon manifold and air filter. It also receives the system combining the E-Diff electronic differential of the F430 and the F1-Track traction and stability control of the Ferrari 599, giving it a true racing car feeling. The 16M also adopts firmer suspensions and a center of gravity lowered by 1.5 cm compared to the F430, as well as semi-slick tires. In addition, the adoption of carbon-ceramic brakes gives it formidable braking. Inside, leather gives way to Alcantara. The car benefits from a carbon treatment on the steering wheel, door panels and bucket seat shells. This is one of the last naturally-aspirated Ferraris with a robotised gearbox before the turbo and dual-clutch turn. It combines the extreme (Scuderia) with the pleasure of driving with your hair blowing in the wind. Its rarity (499 units) and incredible sound make it a sought-after model for collectors.
